Orthopaedic Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist orthopaedic care including casting, splinting, and functional bracing
• Assess, apply, and adapt specialist braces to support patient recovery
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with NHS protocols and clinical guidelines

Requirements

• British Casting Certificate (essential)
• Extensive experience in orthopaedic casting and splinting
• Expertise in trauma and orthopaedic casting and functional bracing
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy
• Strong communication and patient-handling skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• British Orthopaedic Association registration
