About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with making necessary referrals to new and current students across all academic programs
- Advise students in all phases of academic and career planning, including scheduling and registration
- Inform and advise prospective and current students regarding the orientation process
- Field a high volume of student inquiries related to orientation and enrollment
- Coordinate the logistics and organization of on-campus new student orientation sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of college educational and student services procedures
- Ability to establish professional relationships with diverse individuals
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver classroom presentations
- Proficiency with current software applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with varied student populations
- Experience delivering presentations to large groups
- Knowledge of learning management systems and other educational technologies
