About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and consultation to commanders and unit leadership on human performance factors, including resilience training and motivational strategies.
  • Deliver leadership coaching to help leaders at all levels maximize performance regarding personal, mission, and organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement training and education programs that integrate organizational health and wellness with DOD and Army policy.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and installation medical resources to identify resource needs for mission performance.
  • Practice within the guidelines of state licensing boards, APA Ethical Principles, and MTF privileges.
  • Travel to various locations (CONUS/OCONUS) to provide supportive services, briefings, and data collection.

Requirements

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Industrial/Organizational Psychology from an APA-accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of an APA-accredited internship.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum of six years of full-time treatment experience post-licensure.
  • Unrestricted psychologist license in any US State, DC, Guam, Puerto Rico, or US Virgin Islands.
  • Experience working with military servicemembers in a behavioral health environment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
  • Ability to travel 25% - 50% for domestic and international assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in organizational change management and communication.
  • Experience in operational consultation and liaising.
  • Expertise in training program development and critical incident response.
  • Strong understanding of military lifestyle and culture.
