Organizational Activity Interface (OAI)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical field operational services and support for Patriot depot operations in Meisau, Germany
• Manage the integration of the Fire Unit and Battalion during depot operations and System Integration and Check-Out (SICO)
• Assist with BN/FU operation software initialization, including formulating system databases and communication plans
• Provide expertise on system software application, including initialization, operation, and training
• Support the unpacking, inventory, inspection, repair, and check-out of Major End Items (MEIs)
• Conduct new equipment training and sustainment training through classroom and practical exercises
• Provide technical advice and assistance to battery personnel regarding operational and tactical procedures
• Manage exercises utilizing practice scenarios with the Patriot Engagement Control Station (ECS) and Information and Coordination Central (ICC)

Requirements

• Patriot Operator or System Mechanic MOS 24T/14E/140E/140K (TRADOC or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Patriot Air Defense System
• Active and existing DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Valid US Passport and valid US Driver's License
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme environments
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years, or HS Diploma/GED with 12 years
• Ability to obtain and maintain Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) to work in Germany

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in depot and production type environments
• Experience instructing Patriot organizational classes (March Order, Emplacement, System Initialization, etc.)
• Good working knowledge of PATRIOT communication links
• One year of Collective Training experience or assignment to a deployed PATRIOT Battalion
• Graduate of the U.S. Army Top Gunner/Master Gunner Course
• Experience with Config 2 and Microsoft Office Suite
