Organic Preparation Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis using various EPA Methods in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Perform extractions using various EPA methods
• Safely and properly wash scientific glassware for the organic preparation department
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
• Use appropriate safety equipment and recognize safe working conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work off shifts
• Ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours
• Dexterity in hands and fingers to handle glassware
• Ability to learn quickly and follow directions
• Strong commitment to quality, integrity, and teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional education or experience working in a laboratory setting
