Organic and Conjugation Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform multistep organic synthesis of linker-payload reagents under supervision
• Purify and characterize small molecules using techniques such as flash chromatography, HPLC, LC/MS, and NMR
• Learn and perform bioconjugation of antibodies, peptides, and small molecule payloads
• Characterize conjugates using analytical techniques including HPLC, LC-MS, and SEC
• Document experimental plans and procedures in electronic lab notebooks following appropriate SOPs
• Generate, analyze, and summarize scientific data to provide regular project updates
• Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment

Requirements

• Master's Degree, or equivalent professional experience (e.g., Bachelor's with 2+ years, Associate's with 4 years, or High School/GED with 6 years of relevant experience)
• Experience in organic synthesis and chemical reaction optimization
• Knowledge of purification and analytical methods
• Proficiency in laboratory safety and good lab practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Eagerness to learn chemical conjugation and ADC characterization
• Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, diverse team of scientists and engineers
