Organic and Conjugation Chemist

Responsibilities

• Synthesize, purify, and characterize antibody, protein, and peptide conjugates for clinical drug development
• Develop small molecule payloads and linkers for novel antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)
• Operate and maintain standard laboratory equipment
• Document experimental plans, procedures, and results with high attention to detail
• Review, analyze, and interpret scientific data to provide regular project updates and communication

Requirements

• Master's Degree, or equivalent professional experience (Bachelor's with 2+ years, Associate's with 4 years, or High School/GED with 6 years)
• Proficiency in organic synthesis
• Experience with chromatography methods such as HPLC and RP HPLC
• Experience with structural determination methods including NMR and MS

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing, executing, and optimizing chemical reactions
• Experience in peptide synthesis and protein conjugation
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety and good lab practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic, diverse team of scientists and engineers
