About the role
Responsibilities
- Pick orders via headset using a voice pick system with high accuracy
- Organize orders on pallets to ensure product integrity
- Operate riding electric pallet jack and forklift
- Follow food safety quality service standards and regulations
- Maintain a steady pick rate in a refrigerated environment (35-56 degrees)
- Lift up to 50lbs frequently
Requirements
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to maintain a consistent pace to meet pick rate requirements
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in order picking or pallet building
- Prior work in food distribution
- Experience with voice pick systems (e.g., Vocollect)
- Experience with electric pallet jacks or powered industrial trucks (PIT)
