About the role
Responsibilities
- Pick orders via headset using a voice pick system with attention to accuracy
- Organize orders on pallets to ensure product integrity
- Operate riding electric pallet jack and forklift
- Follow food safety quality service standards and comply with procedures
- Work in a refrigerated environment (35-56 degrees)
- Lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Manage time and pick rate independently
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Ability to maintain a steady and consistent pace to meet pick rate requirements
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Order picking or pallet building experience
- Prior work in food distribution
- Voice pick system or Vocollect experience
- Experience with electric pallet jack or powered industrial trucks (PIT)
