Order Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of customer orders from sales handover through manufacturing to outbound delivery
• Coordinate order handover and monitor material availability for production introduction
• Monitor production or facility changes affecting order production
• Manage order blocking, releasing, and scrapping according to requirements
• Interface with Production Steering and Production Control to manage orders and production plans
• Track on-time delivery performance and report deficiencies or recovery plans
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly order management reporting
• Support VDA/BMS requirements as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 4+ years in order management or order fulfillment within the automotive industry
• Proficiency in ERP and planning software such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
