Order Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide internal and external customer service, including technical support and payment-related assistance.
• Coordinate with scheduling, operations, quality, and shipping departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Resolve customer issues regarding orders, technical specifications, and payments by collaborating with Sales and Supply Chain Management.
• Recommend and implement appropriate solutions for customer requests, including production capability and pricing.
• Maintain accurate documentation of orders, decisions, and assumptions within company systems.
• Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes and procedures.
• Develop Microsoft Project schedules to track the execution of complex orders with multiple milestones.
• Utilize ABB tools including Spine, SAP, and SOM for order entry and invoicing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or an Associate's degree with 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making and teamwork.
• Must possess valid US work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or knowledge of ABB systems such as SPINE, SAP, or SOM.
