Orbital Warfare Mission Planning Cell Analyst

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update mission planning brief templates, campaign planning slides, and mission planning cell procedures
• Interface with the 1 SOPS Weapons and Tactics flight to document lessons learned and integrate new TTPs into procedures
• Support monthly Mission Planning Cell meetings and document required changes to mission procedures
• Facilitate the 1 SOPS Post-Shift Debrief program, including event reconstruction and post-mission analysis product development
• Ensure all lessons learned are actioned through training material updates and procedure revisions
• Maintain and update the post-mission/post-shift analysis database for Delta 9 pre-mission planning review
• Generate and update training products for the 1 SOPS Post-Mission and Post-Shift Debrief programs

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance (SAP/SAR eligible)
• B.S. in a related field (additional education or certifications may be considered in lieu of experience)
• 10+ years of experience in space operations
• 3+ years of experience specific to orbital warfare missions
• Formal Orbital Analyst Training
• Proficiency in Satellite Tool Kit (STK), FreeFlyer, and Microsoft Suite (including Excel and Access)
• Prior Space Delta 9 experience (1 SOPS or 3 SOPS)
