Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist Oral Surgeons with procedures and provide chairside assistance
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, materials, and equipment
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with conscious and IV sedation
• Maintain a clear surgical field using suction hoses and other equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels
• Perform X-rays and operate 3D scanning equipment
• Chart existing and recommended treatments
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and manage surgical supplies
• Greet guests and handle administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of specific oral surgery experience
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas
