Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide expert oral and maxillofacial surgical care to patients in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
• Conduct patient consultations and assessments, developing tailored care strategies
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring data confidentiality
• Participate in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and trainees
• Stay updated with advancements in OMFS techniques and integrate them into practice

Requirements

• Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Proven experience in a consultant role within OMFS
• Professional registration with GDC
• Eligibility to work in the UK and compliance with regulatory standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
