Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations through clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Perform complex surgical interventions including dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and facial trauma reconstruction
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure effective recovery
• Collaborate with other dental and medical professionals for integrated patient care
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and post-surgical care
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in adherence to local healthcare regulations

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Board certification
• Valid Bahrain license or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience post-residency
• Proficiency in a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
