About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a Tech, Process, and Compliance Advisor by providing expert insights to ensure technology meets user needs while adhering to risk management and segregation of duties (SoD) standards.
- Develop, configure, and implement Oracle Fusion Finance solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and maintaining strong security controls.
- Support testing phases to ensure finance systems operate efficiently and uphold risk mitigation strategies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Regularly assess and improve Oracle finance systems to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards like SOX.
- Coordinate changes by evaluating the impact of upstream updates on finance systems, reports, and access controls.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to resolve software issues in compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain and optimize financial systems to ensure high user satisfaction and robust access controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing finance system projects and operations, specifically within ERP systems in the tech or e-commerce sectors.
- Extensive expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance configuration and optimization.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and SOX compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting queries.
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), including designing and maintaining templates, data models, and layouts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Product teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Experience working in finance cross-functions such as Tax, Treasury, or FP&A.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or SDLC.
- Experience with data analytics or other Oracle Fusion ERP modules.
- Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
