Oracle DBA

Responsibilities

• Support administration of enterprise database environments across production and non-production systems
• Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, security, and operational health
• Troubleshoot database issues affecting application functionality, performance, and data integrity
• Support backup, recovery, restore validation, and outage response activities
• Manage database patching, version updates, and vulnerability remediation
• Maintain database security, access control, account management, and user permissions
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, database jobs, and schemas
• Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve incidents and service requests
• Maintain technical documentation including procedures, configuration notes, and performance tuning parameters

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in database administration or database engineering
• Proven experience supporting production or mission-critical database environments
• Proficiency in Oracle and one or more other relational platforms such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Extensive experience with database management, backup and recovery, and performance tuning
• Strong experience with database security, data integrity, and access controls
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot SQL scripts, stored procedures, and complex queries
• US Citizenship eligibility to obtain a security clearance
