About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and modernize existing Oracle-based applications for a long-term Federal project
  • Develop and manage Oracle 19+ databases, including PL/SQL packages, functions, and stored procedures
  • Perform database object modeling, performance tuning, data conversions, and interface development
  • Analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality, and maintainability
  • Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including O&M support
  • Collaborate with project leadership, technical experts, and third-party staff to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • 4-7 years of hands-on experience developing Oracle-based applications
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience with version control systems such as SVN or Git
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Experience with production support and software O&M

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle APEX (Version 19+) and frontend web development tools
  • Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence
  • Experience with Agile development and DevSecOps methodologies
  • Prior experience working in a government or Federal setting
