About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary eye care and manage ocular diseases
- Manage anterior and posterior segment pathology, including corneal ulcers, uveitis, and red eye
- Diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular disease, retinal holes, and retinal detachments
- Perform removal of foreign bodies
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an accredited school of optometry
- Valid State Optometry License (or eligibility for licensure for new graduates)
