About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality primary eye care and manage ocular diseases
  • Manage anterior and posterior segment pathology, including corneal ulcers, uveitis, and red eye
  • Diagnose and manage diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular disease, retinal holes, and retinal detachments
  • Perform removal of foreign bodies

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an accredited school of optometry
  • Valid State Optometry License (or eligibility for licensure for new graduates)
