Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and monitor ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy
• Perform comprehensive eye exams with a strong emphasis on patient education
• Utilize advanced office technology to deliver care at the full scope of training
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary and coordinate follow-up care
• Manage or triage urgent cases during office hours and as needed after hours
• Participate in staff meetings to set goals and review performance
• Support community outreach initiatives and contribute to practice growth

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
• Passion for medical optometry and serving diverse patient populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical optometry and managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension
• Motivation to contribute to community engagement
