About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships and deliver medical support
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
- Operate optical equipment including manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT
- Follow scripting for testing equipment such as photos and visual fields
- Clean all examination equipment including tonometer tips
- Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented, and patient-focused work environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer or patient-facing position
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Favorable result on a state-required background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
