About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute Total Patient Experience to build patient relationships
- Comply with company policies and HIPAA regulations
- Operate optical equipment including manual/auto-lensometer, autorefractor, retinal camera, visual field, GDX, or OCT
- Follow testing equipment scripting for photos and visual fields
- Clean examination equipment and tonometer tips
- Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned
- Maintain a team-oriented and patient-focused work environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in customer or patient-facing role
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a state-required background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
