About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships and deliver medical support
  • Comply with all company policies and HIPAA regulations
  • Operate optical equipment including manual/auto-lensometers, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX, or OCT
  • Follow testing equipment scripting for photos and visual fields
  • Clean examination equipment including tonometer tips
  • Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned
  • Maintain a team-oriented and patient-focused work environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer or patient-facing position
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the US
  • Favorable result on a state-required background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous medical office experience
  • Previous ophthalmic experience
