About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships and deliver medical support
- Comply with all company policies and HIPAA regulations
- Operate optical equipment including manual/auto-lensometers, autorefractor, retinal camera, and OCT
- Follow testing equipment scripting for photos and visual fields
- Clean examination equipment and maintain a professional environment
- Perform general office duties and maintain a team-oriented atmosphere
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer or patient-facing role
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
