Options Trading Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish best-in-class production support, efficient software deployment, and proactive monitoring
• Troubleshoot trading system production incidents resulting from internal or external factors in time-critical situations
• Develop proprietary process automation and monitoring tools
• Coordinate with European and US Option trading teams to ensure continuity in a 24x7 environment
• Understand exchange data center layout and hardware infrastructure to optimize setup and configuration

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in trade support, site reliability engineering, or related fields
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, ideally computer engineering
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Knowledge of database usage including SQL, NoSQL, or Postgres
• Understanding of modern DevOps, CI/CD, and Distributed Systems
• Experience with Restful web services and web development technologies (Javascript, React.js, Vue, CSS3)
