Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the OPX Facilitator training program to take on a responsible role in a LEAN environment
• Identify and implement optimization potential within operational areas
• Execute various LEAN projects and lead local improvement initiatives
• Coordinate the local continuous improvement management system
• Perform Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and optimize production processes
• Assess production capacity loads and balance production lines
• Define and maintain local ergonomic requirements
• Monitor and report on KPIs and goal achievement
• Conduct maturity and efficiency assessments and time studies
• Provide training to employees

Requirements

• Higher technical education (preferably in mechanics, industrial engineering, or electrical engineering)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing tools
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• English language proficiency at a B2 level
• Experience in the automotive industry is a significant advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
