Optics Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop complex optical systems, primarily focusing on the infrared spectrum
• Create design studies and conduct simulations for fine system analysis
• Utilize software tools for optical design, tolerance, stray light, and thermal analysis
• Specify optical components and coordinate their integration and metrological evaluation
• Act as a technical point of contact for optical component manufacturers and international project partners
• Propose improvements for existing systems and evaluate new technological trends

Requirements

• Degree in Physics, Photonics, Laser/Optotechnology, or Natural/Engineering Sciences with an emphasis on optical technologies
• Proven experience using optical simulation software such as Zemax or Code V
• Highly structured and independent working style
• Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams and handle project unknowns
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
