Optician/Eyewear Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering medical support
• Determine patient needs and exceed expectations through sales
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer
• Educate patients on specific lenses and coatings
• Collect accurate measurements including pupillary distance and vertex distance
• Dispense patient orders and perform frame repairs or adjustments

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year in customer or patient-facing role
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to provide proof of identity and right to work in the US
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong fine motor skills and visual/auditory acuity
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience
• Previous ophthalmic experience
• ABO and NCLE certifications
