The not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital features a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage patients in conjunction with Optometry and Ophthalmology to provide the best in eye healthcare

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Optician certification or working towards certification
• Enrollment in coursework to obtain Optician credentials
• Minimum keyboarding of 50 WPM
• Knowledge of 10 key
• Ability to comprehend, retain and apply given information
• Professional demeanor and excellent public relation skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to effectively calm and deal with distressed or agitated patients

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in office procedures
• Background in medical terminology and health insurance
