About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide a world-class patient experience by building relationships and delivering medical support
- Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
- Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to meet their needs
- Accurately collect optical measurements including pupillary distance, seg heights, and vertex distance
- Operate auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
- Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and perform frame repairs or adjustments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient-facing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking, standing, and fine motor activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
- ABO certification
- NCLE certification
