Optical Technician/Optical Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience by building relationships and providing medical support
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
• Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to meet their unique needs
• Accurately collect optical measurements including pupillary distance, seg heights, and vertex distance
• Operate auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders, including frame repairs and adjustments
• Drive retail sales by identifying and meeting patient wants and needs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a patient-facing role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 25 lbs
• Strong fine motor skills for grasping and using optical technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience
• ABO and NCLE certifications
