About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute Total Patient Experience to build relationships and deliver medical support
- Determine patient needs and drive retail sales
- Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
- Operate auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
- Educate patients on specific lenses and coatings
- Collect accurate optical measurements including pupillary distance and seg heights
- Dispense patient orders and perform frame repairs or adjustments
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year in customer or patient-facing role
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a state-required background check
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and visual/auditory acuity
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
- ABO and NCLE certifications
