Optical Sales Technician

Responsibilities

• Deliver a world-class patient experience while supporting both retail sales and medical needs
• Dispense and fit glasses and contact lenses based on prescriptions from eye care providers
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings that match their needs and preferences
• Take accurate optical measurements and use lensometer equipment
• Repair, adjust, and dispense eyewear orders accurately and efficiently

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of customer service or patient-facing experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience
• ABO and NCLE certifications
