About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute the Total Patient Experience to build relationships and deliver medical support
- Determine patient needs and drive retail sales to exceed expectations
- Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, and facial measurements
- Educate patients on specific lenses, coatings, and frames to suit their needs
- Operate auto-lensometers and manual lensometers
- Accurately collect optical measurements including pupillary distance and seg heights
- Dispense patient orders and perform frame repairs and adjustments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or patient interaction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent walking, standing, and fine motor activities
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 25 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
- ABO certification
- NCLE certification
