Optical Measurement and Detection Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, commission, and optimize optical measurement, testing, and detection systems in automated production facilities
• Implement 2D/3D image processing tasks for quality control, position detection, and robotics
• Integrate and parameterize industrial vision systems including Vision Tools V60, ABB Integrated Vision, and Keyence systems
• Connect vision systems to PLC and robot controllers
• Support the concept development of new automation solutions
• Perform troubleshooting and analysis of malfunctions to optimize existing systems
• Document systems and provide training to operating and maintenance personnel
• Cooperate with design, electrical engineering, software, and external suppliers

Requirements

• Completed technical training or degree in automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or computer science
• In-depth knowledge of industrial image processing and machine vision
• Experience with vision systems such as Keyence, ABB, or Vision Tools
• Programming skills in Siemens S7/TIA Portal
• Basic knowledge of ABB robotics or ABB controllers
• Understanding of automation processes, sensor technology, and industrial communication
• Business fluent German language skills
• English language skills are an advantage
