About the role
Responsibilities
- Design optical systems using specialized software such as Zemax, Code V, or LightTools
- Perform optical simulations and analyses to validate designs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate optical components into final products
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to optical designs and analyses
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate on technical problem-solving
- Provide technical support during prototyping and production phases
Requirements
- Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in optical design, preferably in the advanced technology industry
- Proficiency in optical design software (Zemax, Code V, or LightTools)
- Knowledge of optical simulation and performance analysis
- Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
- Experience with automotive lighting and light patterns
- Strong understanding of optical physics fundamentals
