Optical Designer

Responsibilities

• Design optical systems using specialized software such as Zemax, Code V, or LightTools
• Perform optical simulations and analyses to validate designs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate optical components into final products
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to optical designs and analyses
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate on technical problem-solving
• Provide technical support during prototyping and production phases

Requirements

• Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience in optical design, preferably in the advanced technology industry
• Proficiency in optical design software (Zemax, Code V, or LightTools)
• Knowledge of optical simulation and performance analysis
• Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
• Experience with automotive lighting and light patterns
• Strong understanding of optical physics fundamentals
