About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and professional patient care
  • Perform initial testing including dilation, refraction, and pressures
  • Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, and topography
  • Record patient medical history, medications, and data in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures
  • Maintain clean and stocked examination and treatment rooms
  • Monitor and record vital signs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of related experience or training
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
  • Ability to work over 40 hours and weekends if applicable
  • Reliable transportation for potential travel between locations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification
  • Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification
