About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service during patient encounters
  • Verify patient information, medical history, and current medications
  • Record all data in electronic medical records
  • Check patient eye conditions including pupils, muscles, and visual acuity
  • Perform diagnostic tests including dilation, refraction, pressures, visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refractor, and topography
  • Maintain eye anatomy and disease knowledge
  • Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of related experience or training
  • Reliable transportation for potential travel between locations
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • COA or COT certification
