About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist and guide patients through each step of their visit
- Gather medical histories and perform vision testing and imaging
- Prepare exam rooms and document clinical notes
- Support physicians during treatments and procedures
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and teammates
Requirements
- Dependable and eager to learn
- Valid Texas driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to view multiple computer screens and operate computer devices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Prior ophthalmic experience
