Ophthalmic Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide patients through each step of their visit
• Gather medical histories and perform vision testing and imaging
• Prepare exam rooms and document clinical notes
• Support physicians during treatments and procedures
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and teammates

Requirements

• Dependable and eager to learn
• Valid Texas driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to view multiple computer screens and operate computer devices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Prior ophthalmic experience
