High school diploma or equivalent, Ophthalmic terminology, EMR proficiency, Strong keyboarding skills, Attention to detail, COA or COT preferred, OSC preferred

About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for ophthalmology visits and minor procedures
- Obtain and document medical and ophthalmic histories
- Measure visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and vital signs
- Scribe for physicians and enter orders under supervision after certification
- Assist with eye drops, dressings, shields, patches, and OCT testing
- Maintain clean, stocked rooms and accurate coding/EMR records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of retina-specific ophthalmology terminology
- Strong keyboarding and EMR skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and teamwork
- COA, COT, or OSC certification preferred
