Operator V - Molding

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment in the Molding department and set up machine parameters per operating procedures
• Perform line clearance, quality checks, and required mechanical adjustments to machines
• Ensure raw materials, printing, and packaging materials are ready for production
• Use blueprints, specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product acceptability
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs or routine preventative maintenance (PMs)
• Stack-off master cartons and move finished goods using a forklift
• Follow Good Documentation Practices and maintain 6S housekeeping responsibilities
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Mechanical proficiency
• Computer proficiency with the ability to interpret control documents and use software applications
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and climbing ladders
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Ability to meet visual acuity and audiometric testing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional technical experience, training, or education
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley controls
• Experience as a trained forklift driver
• Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations
