Operator - Transfer Station

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of plant equipment (yellow gear) including dozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes
• Drive heavy vehicle combinations within the South East Queensland area
• Manage the safe receival and processing of materials at Resource Recovery Centres
• Participate in resource recovery activities and general labouring duties
• Engage with customers in a professional manner
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork to support sustainability goals

Requirements

• Valid LF Forklift license (essential)
• Valid HC Heavy vehicle license (minimum requirement)
• Experience operating earthmoving equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes
• Proven experience driving heavy vehicles
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• MC Heavy vehicle license
• Previous experience within the waste management industry
