About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor company plants and facilities, including upstream and downstream units.
  • Monitor process variables, troubleshoot issues, and perform interventions to maintain performance.
  • Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed to maintain personal and team safety.
  • Perform manual operations such as connecting cargo hoses and transferring chemicals.
  • Operate manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps, and various transfer systems.
  • Manage batch and continuous process units using control systems and equipment like centrifuges and heat exchangers.
  • Operate utility systems including power generation, boilers, air compressors, and water treatment systems.
  • Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform minor maintenance and housekeeping duties.
  • Work in various outdoor climates and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two or more years of manufacturing or industrial related work experience (Military experience or a Process Technology degree may be accepted in lieu of experience).
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, overtime, on-call, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to obtain a valid TWIC prior to employment.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, and functional capacity examination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Oil and Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, or Chemical facilities.
  • Completion of an Associate's or Technical Degree from an accredited Process Technology Program.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and aptitude for learning new software.
