Operator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conveyor activities by organizing work orders at load and unload stations
• Load and unload products and complete all required documentation
• Prepare, operate, and read dosimeters for scheduled work orders
• Maintain accurate downtime and system configuration logs
• Record input, dosimeter, and unload information into the computer system
• Perform emergency procedures as required by license and report system problems to maintenance
• Assist with the replacement of designated mechanical components as needed
• Oversee the work of others and assist in plant operation in the absence of supervisors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 30 days of experience working in a sterilization environment
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting
• Proven forklift driving experience
• Willingness to work established shifts
