Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and test production line machinery
• Adjust controls to regulate operations and observe mechanical performance
• Detect issues and diagnose machine malfunctions promptly
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet specifications
• Remove non-conforming products for investigation and corrective action
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production line machinery
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and lubricating parts
• Install and perform equipment changeovers according to production specifications
• Collaborate with team members to repair or move machines and equipment

Requirements

• Experience in machine operation
• Experience working in an industrial environment
• Experience with hand tools and hand finishing techniques
• Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of safety, health, and hygiene conditions
• Post-secondary and/or technical school education
