About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate Rotovac machines to produce liners according to defined production specifications
- Initiate machine cycles, remove parts, and trim excess material using hand tools like knives and scrapers
- Maintain cycle time standards to meet production requirements and track good/bad parts
- Perform quality inspections, including weighing parts hourly and checking for Critical to Quality (CTQ) elements
- Regrind excess plastic and unsatisfactory parts for reuse using a grinder
- Stack finished parts into racks or palletainers
- Maintain a clean work environment using 5S methods and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Notify supervisors regarding machine issues or material shortages
- Work in compliance with all site safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic arithmetic skills for weighing parts and using a calculator
- Ability to read and understand basic English instructions and paperwork
- Ability to work a weekend schedule and overtime as needed
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience
