Operator, Rotovac

Responsibilities

• Operate Rotovac machines to produce liners according to defined production specifications
• Initiate machine cycles, remove parts, and trim excess material using hand tools like knives and scrapers
• Maintain cycle time standards to meet production requirements and track good versus bad parts
• Perform quality inspections, including weighing parts hourly and checking for Critical to Quality (CTQ) elements
• Regrind excess plastic and unsatisfactory parts for reuse using a grinder
• Stack finished parts into racks or palletainers and maintain a clean work environment using 5S methods
• Notify supervisors regarding machine issues or material shortages
• Adhere to all site safety policies and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic arithmetic skills for weighing parts and using a calculator
• Ability to read and understand basic English instructions and paperwork
• Ability to work a weekend schedule and overtime as needed
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
