Operator, Packaging

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect products during operation and monitor equipment for proper functionality
• Assist with the setup and operation of production equipment
• Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment to maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored according to standards
• Document material runs using Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets
• Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, and micrometers as instructed
• Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations
• Coordinate the work of other operators and act as a backup to the Senior Operator as directed

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Minimum of two years of experience in a relevant field (a combination of experience and education will be considered)
