Operator Maintainer

Responsibilities

• Manage water distribution, accounting, and system monitoring activities
• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on water infrastructure
• Conduct fault analysis and implement solutions for operational issues
• Maintain surveillance of water supply infrastructure and report on asset condition
• Procure goods and services through approved processes and supervise contractors
• Ensure all activities comply with Environmental, WH&S, and company policies
• Undertake accurate and timely water data and accounting entry processes
• Participate in a 1 in 2 on-call roster

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Certificate 3 in Water Operations
• Experience with or knowledge of SAP
• Familiarity with administrative and accounting management systems
• Valid Class ‘C’ driver’s licence for manual vehicles
• Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a changing environment
