Operator Lettershop Department

Responsibilities

• Operate mail production equipment to fold, assemble, insert, package, sort, and mail direct mail materials
• Set up and adjust equipment for production runs independently
• Troubleshoot mailing, sorting, folding, and inserting equipment
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any deviations
• Read and understand job tickets to maintain and document production processes
• Work with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve issues

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous production work experience in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment
• Availability to work night shifts (7pm - 7am) including mandatory additional hours and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Direct Mail, Lettershop, or Printing environment
• Knowledge of or experience with USPS postal regulations
• Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments
